SITI Saleha, Malaysian actress and model, landed in Hong Kong recently for the filming of Extreme Ends. This new reality TV series, created by action entertainment TV channel Kix HD (Astro Ch. 729), showcases the "extreme" opposite sides of Hong Kong.
Saleha is one of four celebrities from Southeast Asia featured in the four-episode reality series. She brings along her husband Ahmad Lutfi Azhar (Fi) to share in the adventure, looking forward to creating exciting new memories and bonding experiences as a couple.
These newly-weds, who tied the knot in July 2017, recently celebrated their first anniversary overseas and can’t wait to embark on this adventure together.
Born in England, Saleha rose to fame when she played the character Nora Elena in the drama Nora Elena on TV3 in 2011. The show was a big ratings hit and made Saleha the star she is today. In 2013, she won the Best TV Actress and Best Film Actress awards at the Anugerah Bintang Popular Awards.
Since then, Saleha has appeared in numerous hit TV series and movies, including 7 Hari Mencintaiku, Terbaik Dari Langit, Kekasih Elektrik and Sejadah Panjang Terbentang.
She most recently starred in the horror movie Hamba Iblis, a rare foray into the horror genre for Saleha. This year, Saleha won Best Telenovela Actress at the Anugerah Telenovela 2018 for the psycho-thriller drama Mandatori series.
“I have not been on an action-adventure show or starred in a reality series before, so I’m very excited to join KIX’s Extreme Ends. This is my first time going to Hong Kong, so it will be great for my fans to see me doing new and exhilarating things in the big city.
To top it off, I get to take my husband Fi to join me on this exciting journey. Fi has been so instrumental in my life ever since we met. He is always encouraging me to step out of my comfort zone, so I cannot think of anyone better to join me on this adventure,” said Saleha.
Extreme Ends is a reality show featuring four celebrities and their special guests experiencing the many diverse sides of Hong Kong! In this original series, viewers get an entertaining glimpse into the relationship between the celebrities and their guests.
At the same time, viewers will get to see new sides of Hong Kong they have never seen before. Each episode will feature a theme of extreme opposites, such as “fast vs. slow” or “high vs low.” These themes will showcase the fascinating contrasts, non-stop intensity and distinctively trendy attributes of Hong Kong.
Extreme Ends is produced by KIX’s parent company Celestial Tiger Entertainment, operator of the largest bouquet of pan-Asian channels dedicated to Asian entertainment.
The show is supported by Hong Kong Tourism Board and Harbour City. Extreme Ends will air first and exclusively on KIX HD (Astro Ch. 729) in October. KIX HD was the #1 English GE channel among Astro viewers in 2018 year-to-date. - 7KLIK
