MTV VMA2023: Taylor Swift menang besar, Blackpink pecah dominasi Group Of The Year

MALAM penganugerahan MTV Video Music Awards 2023 (VMA2023) yang berlangsung di Prudential Center di Newark, New Jersey, pada Selasa (12 September) menyaksikan penyanyi Taylor Swift mendominasi kemenangan dengan membawa pulang sembilan award.

Swift atau nama lengkapnya Taylor Alison Swift, 34, dinobatkan pemenang bagi kategori utama iaitu Artist of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year, Video of the Year dan Best Pop. Diikuti kategori Show of Summer, Best Direction, Best Cinematography dan Best Video Effect.

Sementara kumpulan Blackpink pula memecah dominasi bagi kategori Group of The Year apabila menjadi kumpulan wanita yang menggunguli kategori itu selepas 24 tahun.

Satu pencapaian cukup membanggakan buat kumpulan yang dianggotai oleh Jennie, Jisoo, Rose dan Lisa yang kini turut mencipta pengaruh di peringkat global itu sejak membuat debut pada 2016. Selain kategori tersebut, kumpulan asal Korea Selatan itu memenangi kategori Best Cinematography menerusi Pink Venom.
